Our Story

Everyone Drives Something

Some kids grow up with posters on the wall. Jason Hall grew up with the real thing in the garage: his dad standing next to a forest green '65 Corvette, and later a blue '72. Over the years his father owned 11 Corvettes, and he was always building something. Jason was right there handing him wrenches, watching 454s and 350 V8s come apart and go back together, and learning that a car is only as good as the hands that care for it.

His dad had a dream: to one day own a shop with his son. A real one, the kind he loved watching on Gas Monkey Garage. He passed away in 2011 and never got to see it. This shop is that dream.

From Austin Streets to the U.S. Army
In the mid-to-late '90s, Jason was part of the Austin, Texas street scene, just as the custom car culture was taking off. He built and raced Mitsubishi Eclipse GSXs and Toyota Supras and earned his place in that crowd. Then he served in the U.S. Army, as an Infantry Platoon Sergeant, into his first full retirement.

After his service, Jason went home to Midland, Michigan, and studied the automotive aftermarket at Northwood University. He had one goal: to build the shop he and his dad always talked about. One that would fix anything. Everyone drives something, and Jason doesn't judge what you drive. He wants it to go faster, drive smoother, and get you there safer.

Carrying On a Legacy
For 40 years, Steve Mills Quality Auto Repair served the Old Colorado City community from the same spot at 2215 W Vermijo Ave. HARD Corp Customs was incorporated in January 2026, and in May 2026 Jason bought Steve's shop, because the standards built there were worth keeping. Seven lifts, an alignment check, and a 50-point inspection on every car that comes through the door. Those standards are what HARD Corp Customs is built on.

Our First Year
In our first year in business, we've already supported and sponsored the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. On November 2nd through 6th, we're taking the @louisvuittonm3 BMW M3 Competition to the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Come find us at Booth #25035.

Where We're Going
SEMA, every single year. This is only the beginning.

From his dad's garage to the SEMA floor, the mission hasn't changed: do honest work, build something you're proud of, and treat every car like it matters, because to someone, it does.

Q&A with Founder Jason Hall

Q: What's your favorite memory of your dad's Corvettes?
A: "Two of them. The forest green '65, which was the first one I remember. And the C6 Lingenfelter build, black on black, a Z06 prototype. That car was something else."

Q: Why buy Steve Mills' shop instead of starting from scratch?
A:  "History. The goodwill, the customers, and the trust Steve built in this neighborhood over 40 years. And the location. We're right off Highway 24, on the road to Pikes Peak, the same mountain as the Hill Climb we sponsored in our first year. Get your car dialed in here before you head up the mountain."

Q: What does "Everyone drives something" mean?
A: "It means we don't judge what you drive. Whatever it is, we'd like to fix it for you."

Q: What makes the SEMA M3 special?
A: "It's a Louis Vuitton-themed M3 Competition, and it has a waterfall in the trunk. You have to see it. Our friend Jimmy Chung collaborated with us and that car is something truly legendary."

Q: Where is HARD Corp Customs headed?
A: "SEMA, every single year."
